Section 11: Administration Subject: The JR Magic Button question Msg# 832607

When someone loads the home screen, or the message board for that matter, where pix are displayed in a down-sized form (via the insert/edit image button in the edit window), are they actually loading the full-size image into their system's memory, or a smaller, less memory-intensive image?
I got the idea about using smaller images on my MEF home page, then had a further thought that it may not matter one bit. I'm showing images 252 pixels wide, but of course they are actually 620 pixels wide most of the time (if in portrait rather than landscape attitude). I just make them appear smaller via the JR Magic Button... ...which I must add, I totally love. The new method of adding images to messages and everywhere else is brilliant--so much more powerful and useful! |
