Would the forum support a "live" debt clock?
No, but I placed a link for you in Editable Area 3 so you have a link to one on your home page. Dennis suggested that after depressing the submit button it could automatically reply saying "your post has been received" or something to that effect so the poster knows not to keep submitting it just because the message doesn't immediately show. Went through all this years ago. It would require a popup saying the message was posted and then require a click on the popup to continue. Drove people crazy. I have no idea what Dennis is doing but when you click the submit button when REPLYING you are returned to reading messages and as you continue reading your reply shows up in the messages. When you use the post new message link from the discussion home page you are returned to the discussion home page after clicking submit. |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Yup, I did that, good idea..figured out how to do it and made the changes ok, Thanks. Couple of interesting questions from others: 1. Would the forum support a "live" debt clock? 2. I know Linda messaged you re Dennis...Dennis suggested that after depressing the submit button it could automatically reply saying "your post has been received" or something to that effect so the poster knows not to keep submitting it just because the message doesn't immediately show. Any thoughts? |
