That's because you pasted the YouTube video url into the description area for the video. You need to paste it into the box marked VideoURL.
Hello. Please give me the benefit of some computer and programming expertise (I am Microsoft certified with 15 years of experience). I ONLY pasted the URL in the description field for YOU so that you could see the actual URL. As originally stated, I can NOT modify the default "yoga" URL that is there in the VideoURL input field box. Please verify. Thank you. |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: One last problem to note. When I try to paste Click Here as the forum featured video it always reverts to the default video link of the woman doing yoga. That's because you pasted the YouTube video url into the description area for the video. You need to paste it into the box marked VideoURL. Also, note how your link pasted into your message shows as "Click Here." Any url link pasted directly into a message will show the link text as "Click Here." To provide a more descriptive name for link you need to type your descriptive text, then mark the text, then click on the insert link button and paste the actual url link there. You also need to activate Video on your SportsChat site if you are going to use video features in addition to regular features. Do this by going to Admin area, select the Forum Options link, and then set the Video item to true. And, if you want to put a video in a message you use the YouTube icon and it shows the video right in the message as below: |
