Just had a wild idea for message traffic.  We've been talking ideas in the Forum Help section in FF and the guys seem to think we're doing okay there as far as what the staff and membership does to welcome new members.  But I had this idea...

You know how there is an automated message from the forum manager to every new join?  A private message?  What if that message was not private, but a public message?  If everyone in FF saw these messages for every new join I can practically guarantee you most of them would post their own personal welcome messages.  I could make a new "welcome-tell us about yourself" section for this purpose.  FF is the perfect guinea pig forum for it if you're interested.
