I see what you mean now. However, why would you highlight something and then click the backspace key? The normal effect is to delete the highlighted text. Highlight and then click the Delete key. |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Ahh, figured out a concrete example of backspace hi-jinks. Highlight something while editing a message and press the backspace key and one is returned to the un-edited message. It does seem dependent on whether or not you place your cursor at the front or the back of the sentence(s) when you highlight it. I believe starting the highlight process from the end of the sentence is the problem, have to check for the other direction. |
