| The list all page is slow, but a list all in firearms on 46,000 or so messages takes my machine about 10 seconds. If yours takes 30 seconds then your cable connection must be slower than mine. Anyway, I'll see if there is a way to speed it up, but there is a lot going on there, and I suspect few regulars use the list all with any frequency. | ||||||

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Nearly every page move is very quick for me; a second or three--I have a high speed cable connection. But one type of page move is always slow. From the Discussion Home page to list all messages in a single section takes a long time. The busiest sections take up to thirty seconds, timed on a stop watch. Don't know if this is normal and can't be avoided, so--for what it's worth. |
