Sounds like you had a very nice Thanksgiving. It's always nice being with friends.
Lexi is doing well she has lost from 60 pounds down to 42. But she is beginning to perk back up. She gets to go back to dance class after Christmas and she will be out of PE for two more weeks. She is a little anemic after the surgery and she is just now starting to eat everything in site again. I can't believe the school year is almost half way done. It seems like they just started. We did get a dusting of snow the other that only stuck to the grass. Everything else was to warm. But it's been cold. But this is normal for us. We don't know if Ryan will get to come home for Christmas or not. He's 6 1/2 hours away. He's has been working a lot of overtime so it will take him less time to finish that way. Now is he can get 3 days in a row off he will come home. Well I off to watch tv with Patricia. Love you all. Kyra |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Hi Kyra, Sounds like yo, Patricia and Rebecca had a nice Thanksgiving. Can’t go wrong with a nice roasted chicken. We had a nice one to. We didn’t have any leftovers or clean up to do since we went to Damon’s cousin’s house along with about 25 friends and additional family. Was a nice visit with everyone. How’s Lexi doing now? Can’t believe they didn’t at least keep her overnight after surgery. Just hope the infections cleared up and she feeling good now. We have had cool nights and looks like it’s going to get a little cooler and maybe some rain on Saturday. Just hoping it doesn’t as I really would like to have a good crowd at the craft show on Saturday since the one in November was pretty much a bust. This will be the last one I will do for awhile so I hope it goes well. Since Damon’s foot surgery is coming up in February I won’t be able to do anything till in the fall of 2025. I might be able to make some of the non sewn quilted ornaments since we won’t be doing anything for at least two months because he won’t be able to put any weight on the foot for one month and then limited time the second and maybe by the fourth month will be able to drive and walk on it. Just hope his pain is reduced or completely gone by the tim it’s all said and done. Bet the girls enjoyed decorating your Christmas tree?? I finished ours ye while I was off sick yesterday with a chest cold. Slept a lot and felt better today and went to work today. We had our department Christmas party with good food and gift exchange afterwards. The guys are a hoot when it comes to the gift exchange. We do it where a gift ca be taken away from someone twice before it stays with the last person. Had some hot and heavy taking going on. The water bottles and such were hot items Good Ryan got to get home for Thanksgiving. I know he enjoyed it. Hope he gets to stay a little longer at Christmas. Love you my friend and hope you have a good Christmas in case I don’t a message off next week. It’s going to be a busy week-fudge and toffee making time. Damon’s making the chocolate chip cookies.
