Howdy,
Took today and tomorrow off from work. Damon’s visiting family friends in Bellflower today and will be coming home sometime tomorrow. Work’s been pretty stressful with pushing to get reports closed from last year and our IT department moving our department files to a different cloud. Microsoft’s M365 is not really work friendly and it all online accessed. Not nice to try and find where you can access your spreadsheet, etc. but we’ll figure it out. Just hope the cloud is well monitored and has good security to prevent hackers. Looks like two more craft fairs are coming up, October and December. We’re getting the AC fixed in the shed so I can work in there during the summer. Have to have some parts replaced due to a leak of the Freon. Fortunately Fujitsu covers it under warranty so my mother in law only has the labor cost. It’s one of those Fujitsu Splits AC’s and it really works well. Got more to make for the next fairs so will be nice having it useable again. Got some Impatiens to fill the pots on the front porch. White, orange and pink. They like shade so should work well there. They tolerate the heat too. Our tomato plan is doing well. It’s a Roma and has tons of blossoms and beginn tomatoes on it. We moved the bell pepper out to where it gets full sun. If it looks like it is getting too much we can move it back. Damon’s ablation went ok but he’s going to ask his prior doctor ho much sedation did the last doctor use because Damon doesn’t remember from the time the second needle was put in until they woke him up. In all the years he’s had the ablations he’s never been out, always knew what was going on, answered questions from the doctor so this lates one he has some concerns. Hopefully he will get some answers. Got our car back and you wouldn’t know anything had happened to it and the other person’s insurance paid us in full for the rental bill. Hopefully nothing else will happen. Think I’m going to take a short nap?? Have a dinner with our union rep and the other shop stewards tonight at 6 pm. Have a good rest of your evening. Hope the sock knitting mac works well for yo. Colleen |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: No the basement only flooded the one night. It only floods if it's rain extremley hard and then everything comes flowing down hill into my yard. No the city doesn't charge for clean up from storm damage. The tree belonged to the people across the street from me. The police called the city because the road was blocked. I'm still working on the CSM (Circular Sock Machine). I have all the pieces printed I just need to finish the bases. I have been enjoying the 3D printer it is so much better that the first one I bought years ago. With it you could not use you computer while it was printing and it was so slow and would only print small things. Yes Lexi graduation was so cute. And Eva got out of school about an hour ago so she is done too. I have to find out how much I owe her. Last I heard it was about $50. $10 for each A and $5 for each B. And she is in all regular ed classes this year. Lexi is going to have her dance program in June. I'm hoping to get to go to that one. Glad to here he has more coming out. Tell him at 77 some of us can't hang on the cliff edges for long. I do enjoy his books very much. I wish Damon luck. Any kind of back pain is the pits. Katies mothers is going to have back surgery this summer to remove a cyst that is trying to grow between to discs and causing her great pain. They tried the steroid shot in her back but it did not help at all. Patricia has been repainting different things. She did a peacock and it turned out great. Now she is painting a lantern with light houses on it. She has been helping Lexi with her paintings. Am glad you friends daughter is able to move on. It is so hard when you lose a loved one. It nice that you are checking on her too. Well I guess it time to start thing on what I'm fixing for dinner tonight. Enjoy you programs and knitting. Love Kyra |
