No the basement only flooded the one night. It only floods if it's rain extremley hard and then everything comes flowing down hill into my yard. No the city doesn't charge for clean up from storm damage. The tree belonged to the people across the street from me. The police called the city because the road was blocked.
I'm still working on the CSM (Circular Sock Machine). I have all the pieces printed I just need to finish the bases. I have been enjoying the 3D printer it is so much better that the first one I bought years ago. With it you could not use you computer while it was printing and it was so slow and would only print small things. Yes Lexi graduation was so cute. And Eva got out of school about an hour ago so she is done too. I have to find out how much I owe her. Last I heard it was about $50. $10 for each A and $5 for each B. And she is in all regular ed classes this year. Lexi is going to have her dance program in June. I'm hoping to get to go to that one. Glad to here he has more coming out. Tell him at 77 some of us can't hang on the cliff edges for long. I do enjoy his books very much. I wish Damon luck. Any kind of back pain is the pits. Katies mothers is going to have back surgery this summer to remove a cyst that is trying to grow between to discs and causing her great pain. They tried the steroid shot in her back but it did not help at all. Patricia has been repainting different things. She did a peacock and it turned out great. Now she is painting a lantern with light houses on it. She has been helping Lexi with her paintings. Am glad you friends daughter is able to move on. It is so hard when you lose a loved one. It nice that you are checking on her too. Well I guess it time to start thing on what I'm fixing for dinner tonight. Enjoy you programs and knitting. Love Kyra |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Hey there! Sure hope you’ve been able to keep your basement from flooding with all the rain you’ve been getting. Wish we could get some of the rain too but we’re pretty much done with the rains from now on. Whoa so thankful that tree fell down on the driveway and not your house. Good that the city came right out and cleaned it up. Do they bill you for the cleanup? Boy that sock machine is quite the project. I’m sure Lexi will enjoy that Barbie doll bed. Those machines can make anything. Damon’s friend at the coffee shop made a model car. Nicely done to. I still like my dragon and my knome. We use the two cell phone holders he made. He’s always making things and bringing them in to the coffee shop. They’re free for the taking. So Lexi is graduating preschool. They grow up so fast. By the way what has Patricia been crafting lately? Always like to see what you both have been working on. How is Rebecca doing? With the weather I’m sure she’s not been on her trampoline. Oh! Guess who’s going to have book Four coming out next year? Yes, Brian Scott Leon just signed a contract with his publisher, Red Adept, for book four. He’s also contracted for book five which I will be one of his beta readers again. I messaged him was he going to answers questions or leave it a cliffhanger like the others. He just sent back a smiley face. Damon’s had one of his bi-yearly radio frequency ablations two weeks ago. Seems to be working with much less pain in his neck. Poor guy is just falling apart and not much more can be done once they stop working only recourse is fusion which isn’t guaranteed to fix the problem. My friend’s daughter is doing fairly well. She got her mom’s ashes back and she’s been cleaning her mom’s bedroom and cleaning out things that she doesn’t need to keep. Fortunately she is back to work and it’s keeping her pretty busy catching up on paperwork and testing the students. She isn’t going to teach summer school which will give her time to get other things done around the house. I text her usually every day, just to check in with her. Time for me to get out of my work clothes and get comfortable. We have our Summer Baking Championship on FoodNetwork tonight so I think I will sit and knit awhile and watch some tv before it comes on.
