I'm becoming very aware of the slippery slopes in the craft world. The monthly workshops at our weave guild meetings and this forum have me very tempted to venture in different directions.

We did, recently, have an ornament workshop using beads and fine thread to make the ornament. I did enjoy it and the wife loves the ornament but the beads were just so tiny for my big mitts to handle comfortably.

I think if I were to add another craft to my limited craft time I might look into one of those knitting machines like Kyra has. They are pretty darn interesting.
