At first I thought it was a narrow legged table. Maybe something that a bed light would sit on. But I read the Wikipedia definition and came to find out it's the table designed by the Japanese to braid their Kumihimo.

I do know a little about kumihimo but I didn't know the Japanese had a special table to do it on. Very interesting.
