Description: These are the non-repeatable results from my dye day. (Non-repeatable because I was using mystery dye solutions of unknown strength) On the left: some Shetland wool roving that started out as a dull, dark grey -- space-dyed. The skeins: in purple, handspun tussah silk; in blue, fine silk cord from Treenway -- immersion dyed. On the right: tussah silk top, immersion dyed. The streaking was completely accidental, but I kind of like it.
