Description: This is the "business end" of the wheel-in-progress. The spindle is made from a steel rod. Its whorl and pulley used to be the bowl and handle of a wooden spoon. I'll anchor and trim the fluffy ends of the bearings before the work is done -- they're made from corn husks.
