Description: One of 2 sock models for a class in Faire Isle knitting techniques. The main pattern, toe, heel, cuff and trimmings are mine; the rest is loosely based on a commercial pattern because the socks were intended for a class and we wanted students to have a pattern to start with and learn to embellish, so they were to select one of 5 similar commercial patterns. The majority of local craft classes were cancelled after Sept. 11th due to lack of signups, including mine. Uploaded: 11/8/2001 by kayaboo311
