![]() ![]() Section 11: Immigration Subject: A Win for Due Process Msg# 1223447

Well, not every "right-winger" says the Constitution is only for citizens. I challenged you on something you posted from an early Founding Father's commentary (I believe) regarding due process, which you didn't respond to. Turns out the Supreme Court disagreed with me and I certainly am not going to challenge the nation's highest court. I do think their ruling was actually a win for the Executive branch, though many disagree.
My main gripe here is that so many Americans seem overly concerned with fairness and showing empathy for criminals, gangsters, and terrorists, while showing no sympathy for the victims of awful crimes perpetrated upon Americans--rape, murder, etc. I have to wonder where their priorities lay? Regarding my comment re: rudeness. I apologize. I shouldn't have said that. |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Give the nonsense a break. Look at the context. Right wingers here are, incredibly, claiming the Constitution is only for citizens and no one but me expresses concern over it. The Supreme Court makes it clear about habeas corpus and people here want to ignore that most important aspect of the decision. And I am rude for pointing out the obvious? |
