As the reviews of crap spending are dominating recent news, a new word has begun popping up. CLAWBACK has been mentioned in several examples. This means that the govt would be taking steps to recover funds already paid out, and to bring those funds back into the central pool of govt accounts provided by taxpayers. Hats off. Recall the $59 million paid out to hotels for lodging of migrants-- its now been clawed back. And then there's $20 million hastily paid by Biden on his way out the door-- Lee Zeldin has announced plans to clawback those funds, after discovering the bank where such funds were hidden. HOORAY FOR CLAWBACKS. The more the merrier !!! Hats off, Sound the drums !!!! |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Today we hear that 75,000 federal govt workers have signed on to the retirement BUYOOUT that Trump is offering. So there's going to be a paperwork bottleneck at that limestone mine facility. Another giant administrative mess. Another bobby prize for them Also there's news that the judge who earlier paused that buyout program has now ruled the program can go forward.
