Interesting to compare similar problems in Ohio. And glad you're now proud of the new Repub Senator, Bernie Moreno, as well as Vance replacement, Jon Husted. Good pair
Md's last Repub Senator was Charles Mathias who left in 1987, about 37 years ago. |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Not to veer too far off target, but here in Ohio we had a similar totally irresponsible Democratic senator who had been entrenched in the Senate for years and years--Sherrod Brown, lining his pockets and ignoring the people of Ohio, all the while getting reelected by the large blue cities here. Finally the rest of people in the state (largely conservatives outside 4-5 big cities) got tired of his selfish ways and booted him out last election, and replaced him with a conservative Republican. It took some work and some expenditure of capaign contributions, but I mention this just to say it can be done. These rotten-to-the-core senators and congressmen just need to be exposed as the money grubbers they are, and the people of the state shown how little they do, and have done, for their state. |
