YES  Personal, as well as logical reasons to oppose offshore power.   And there's some big adverse effects to back that opposition .

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Pardon me for jumping in, but aren't the Marylanders that make up much of this group, prime sufferers from this offshore evil?  Don't misunderstand me, I am 100% behind ending this, I just wanted to remind myself that it's personal for many of you, right?
