Section 4: President & Congress Subject: Newspaper Endorsement Shocks Msg# 1214266

Okay, I think I get your point now. You were asking others for their contrary opinions only, right?
By the way--here's an opinion regarding newspapers being "courageous enough to support their candidate of choice." There is no courage involved. All any news outlet is doing when they endorse a candidate is saying "we are not an objective news source only interested in reporting news openly and honestly. We ARE biased toward one political extreme (or the other)" And by endorsing one candidate over another, they are clearly telling their subscribers which political leaning they have. |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: The conversation started because The Washington Post and The Los Angeles Times, that historically have endorsed candidates for president, chose not to do so for the upcoming election. I posted a newspaper's endorsement to show that there are still newspapers that are courageous enough to support their candidate of choice. I agree with most of what was written, but it is the newspaper that made the assertion. I asked those who thought the article was false to tell me what was false and what the truth would be. I did not ask for proof. |
