Mark (& Jim)
Democrats generally do not listen to news sources from both sides--only the far left side. I got a big chuckle today when Jim Matthews posted a URL from Rachel Maddow. And that URL Is a bit outdated, (from perhaps 9 months ago,) long before Kamala became the Dem candidate. Certainly, not looking for both sides, just the far left. Embarrassingly, Kamala's own words are undermining her candidacy. Folks who hear both sides of issues are often hearing her own words that raise issues about her competency. There's the word salad group where she sounds like an elementary school child. There's the inability to describe any specifics about her policies. For many weeks sources were constantly asking her to publish her list of policies, -- and when they finally did come forth there were several examples of plagiarism. Then there were a number of examples of flip flops. Folks saw Kamala herself announcing her opposition to fracking when she was a candidate for prez in the 2020 election. – now saying she’s not opposed. Same thing for the border wall, flipping from opposition to support for that wall. Just two examples among many flip flops And most recently she’s been advocating a program featuring new, different policies than those she consistently supported for the last four years. Those Harris claims about the urgently needed changes do not survive the nagging question -- why didn’t she implement any of those ideas while veep? And that entire group of fictional claims falls apart when Kamala says she “can’t think of anything she would do differently from Biden's four years” Biden also piled on when telling the press that Kamala was totally on board with everything Biden has pushed thru over those four years. Again undermining her ability to break loose into new directions, as she attempted to feature in her campaign. Again, the folks have seen these Harris words, are coming out of her own lips. Seems ironic that the recent frequency of Harris interviews seem to be self inflicted political wounds, among Kamala and her close Dem allies. Also thanks Mark for your messages supporting these conservative issues. |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Good message. I've decided Democrats generally do not listen to news sources from both sides--only the far left side. You probably saw my recent message to that point. Republicans do listen to both sides, and tend to be considerably better informed--as you just proved. |
