That's also true for omitting responses to entire messages -- when no one responds.   

Especially happens when a topic has ZERO links -- thus shrinking its credibility -- turns into merely a personally held opinion.

Also omitting response happens when topic is somewhat stale--not of current interest -- not generating responses

Also omitting responses happens when there's been duplications of the same old arguments and lacking any new materials or lacking any new links

YES  Throwing in insulting comments -- is another way of producing omitted responses.
