Remember when “ made in China” referred to inferior and cheap.   YES  And that's one big drawback in public minds about EVs.  Too many have batteries "made in China"

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Being a multi business owner for many years I understand the economy. And I understand that we used to be number one in the world economy with exports and production. The need for lower cost products was self inflicted due to our increased cost due to union labor costs and regulations.  Remember when “ made in China” referred to inferior and cheap.
