Well, what is the quality of shoes, clothing, televisions, and a myriad of other products no longer even made in the United States. Virtually every electronic device we use, including cell phones, is made in Asia. Quality seems very high. 

How quickly you forget how Asia took over the automobile market in America because the American manufacturers were producing junk. Fortunately that has turned around a great deal in recent decades.
