Sorry if you think my message seemed hostile. But here’s some basic factors supporting those comments.
I’ve seen & heard far too many headlines describing gay parades and what kids are seeing there. San Francisco parade values have become too prevalent. In those headlines there’s plenty of references to stuff like rampant nudity, urinating, suggestive dancing, etc. All on public streets & sidewalks. Even some exhibitionists appearing within the crowds lining the sidewalks. Yet there’s seems little or no information about arrests. Recall that there’s plenty of reports how DA’s in blue cities are failing to prosecute crimes. Makes matters even worse pushing the limits of decency too far. AND wokeness is expanding. This expansion parallels the Dems record on the growth of looting, due to other non-inforcements of law. Decency standards are gone by the wayside. Seems hard to overlook or whitewash these kinds of stains on American society Most folks are aware how fights are occurring in the courts regarding disgusting books being banned in libraries for kids. Then there are the court fights over laws regulating sex change operations, litigating the need for parental consents, and age limits for the kids involved. Such examples show how there has been pushing of the Dems agenda. AND the legal cases are supported by Dem lawyers, Dem DA’s, judges and donors (like Geo. Soros, etc.) Yes indeed. Dems are pushing this stuff very hard. Such pushing is far from “live and let live.” Many conservatives would be much more at ease, if only it were “live and let live.” Seems a fiction to call it that innocent phrase. |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: And you have a good evening, too. While we differ greatly on most items political, both parties, and their members, have faults. I think we need to recognize that. I try not to blame Republicans for the faults of a Democrat. That kind of stuff seems related to the Dems promotion of wokeness, drag queens, perverted practice, disgusting books, especially in kids libraries, sex changing surgery, etc. The words you have chosen are hostile. And, in my opinion, it's more tolerance than promotion. More like live and let live. If no one is forcing their lifestyle on children (or me, for that matter), then I am willing to be tolerant, up to a point. The Right seems to want legislate against cultural changes that have evolved over centuries. Being a child of the '50s, I certainly don't agree with all of those changes. But I am willing to tolerate changes that do not harm others. And, for example, I have zero tolerance for a biological man boxing against a biological woman, and beating her to a pulp. Drives a wedge against folks who believe what their religion teaches. I don't think it's the job of the government to enforce what someone's religion teaches. Christians should live their life as Jesus did and would want them to. Likewise, for other religions. Our laws should support freedom of religion. Our laws should help to keep people safe and protect them from crime. |
