As I have previously stated, everything should be age-appropriate.
I agree, but many age-inappropriate books have been found in elementary school libraries, put there by school administrators or teachers without consulting or even notifying parents. And allow parents to decide what is appropriate for their children to read. If only that were true everywhere...but it seems that when Florida does just that, it garners the ire of the left, who then display public signs like the one you posted in the image gallery. I'm still not sure why you put that photo in the image gallery, then snapped at me for calling it out.

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: As I have previously stated, everything should be age-appropriate. I am not in favor of indoctrinating anyone. Given those constraints, all books should be available. If some think they are "indecent" fine. Then they do not have to read them. But, allow others to read what they choose. And allow parents to decide what is appropriate for their children to read. |
