The US is the closest it’s ever been to communism/socialism thanks to the progressive left. And they have been working on it for decades.

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Khrushchev said in the '50s "We will bury you." The Communists have not succeeded, but they are still trying. They don't care if it takes decades or centuries. In the meantime, China will keep us as their largest buyer of goods and use that income to continue building weapons.
