| Unions were needed at one time. That purpose was filled. Not really needed anymore especially since they politicise everything. I left the Teacher Union in 1969. 55 years and I never joined another one. In fact I turned down several Union jobs, the money was good, but I just couldn't bring myself to be involved with it. Never missed it. My brother and one sister worked their whole career for one Union. Sister was secretary to the President of IBEW, brother was a big wig in UAW. So I was the outcast and the only Republican. | ||||||

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: IMHO after the unions killed the majority of our industries , the remaining didn’t have a chance to survive. You are right people buy the cheapest lots of the time. I buy as much made in the USA as possible. Buy American! |
