Jack, you just explained why Republicans have problems. When I suggest voting for Hogan as Maryland Senator it has nothing to do with whether I like him or not. One must understand political reality and avoid this attitude of only voting for extreme right-wing candidates. The political reality is the importance of controlling the Senate. Electing Hogan, a Republican, from the State of Maryland, will help ensure that control. Allowing our personal likes and dislikes for any one individual to interfere with common political sense makes no sense. |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: It does concern me. Tired of Rinos. Well we'll elect Hogan and maybe we get him to vote Republican sometimes . whoopie! But we have control of the Senate, maybe. Joe let's put it to rest now, I'm sure he will win. You like him I don't. I can only hope for the best. |
