Check your facts Jim. Who has banned these books. To Kill aMockingbird was banned by the woke advocates. Deemed it racial. Look into why the balance were so called banned and by whom. | ||||||

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: So, why would that book be banned for age-appropriate distribution? It seems obvious that you and others on this forum are uncomfortable with LGBT orientations and lifestyles, but are you extending that discomfort to banning the book that you reference from the adult population? I don't see any place in the Barnes & Noble link where they are pushing adult material for consumption toward children. It is up to the parents to choose the time when it is proper to explain to their children that there are alternative lifestyles But. you chose to emphasize a book that suited your agenda. Here are some previously and currently banned books that would totally be appropriate for high school students. It is up to the parent to monitor and screen what is appropriate for their children.
