Mark
I've read several reports recounting the history of other examples of dissidents entering public buildings. The differences from Jan6 are rather interesting. Some dissidents have brought in & detonated explosives, some have brought firearms and have fired them inside congress. BUT No, not for Jan6. Yet several were carrying flags Jan6. Violent examples:
Federal court houses and other public buildings outside of DC have been invaded and threatened with arson during the Antifa/BLM riots. No arson for Jan6. Yet I did not read any examples except Jan6 where undercover Feds were seen encouraging people to go inside. And we've seen the videos how doors were held open by officials, letting folks easily enter. So Mark I'd suggest you're in good company in writing comments comparing Jan6 to other violent dissident events. |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: You completely ignore many of my questions. Sorry, that's factual. And I may not give the answers you want in response to your questions, but I usually respond--unless it's just browbeating from you. I see no point in encouraging you by responding to those. And I certainly never said anyone here who disagrees with me is ignorant or stupid. You took one cartoon and have been running with it. By the way, specifically regarding Jan 6--I brought up the summer of destruction BECAUSE IT IS RELEVANT. You liberals are constantly making out Jan 6 to have been World War Three, yet you essentially ignored the summer of destruction and called it "mostly peaceful protests." Democrat congress people like, I believe, Maxine Waters, ENCOURAGED it, yet are they criticized like President Trump? No. Vice President Kamala Harris tweeted for help in providing bail for those arrested, yet did liberals see that as criminal or professional even? No. The parallels are there, which is why I made the comments I did. And yet you write: When I ask either of you a question about January 6, before answering my question, you either point out the sanitized videos, or go immediately into "summer of fire and destruction" and you expect me to answer that. Those are two separate topics and I was willing to discuss both, just not at the same time. Please think about that. |
