Exactly. No problems with the constitution if that would be occurring. Yet newspapers are generally loaded with opinion reports, [and are signed by the writers.] Very selective, partisan stuff. Even among reports that are labeled as news. So this generally means newspapers are the most polarized. Thus can seem "further out" than TV. But the minute by minute style of electronic reporting should be very close to a Joe Friday style -- just the facts man.... A goal along the lines you've mention above, and that I'd also endorse. And seems closer to public utilities situation. My two cents |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: I would put online media companies with TV stations and newspapers, as I said, rather than with public utilities like the gas or electric companies, regardless of the Wikipedia article. Seems like common sense. Just my opinion. Regardless, I still believe that the government should not be influencing censorship in any way, shape or form. |
