For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: This is what i was talking about. What on Earth does Putin's attact on Ukraine have to do with your opinion of the Bidens? Gee, maybe because Biden's in charge of our zillion dollar response to it? If you do not approve of Ukraine, then at least consider what happens next. If Russia captures Ukraine do you think Putin will stop there? Or will he try to continue taking over countries right up to the NATO border? Another cold war? Will he proceed further in an attempt to take over the World. I've heard all this before, when Kennedy got us involved in Vietnam... Are you sure you want to put "Biden" and "border in the same sentence? It would be kind of nice if he worried as much about our borders... If you have no empathy for Ukraine, at least consider the selfish motive of keeping Putin away from NATO and our other allies and the possibility of our being drawn into a war. Are you saying that our providing Ukraine enough military hardware to keep Putin's head down is LESS likely to get us into a shooting war? And, what makes you think Biden will step up and honor any NATO agreements if and when our allies actually are attacked? Political expediency is the only thing that moves him to action and I don't see him getting us into a war over there as something likely to garner more votes for the Democratic party. |
