Description: Scientific studies show that rising CO2 is boosting green foliage across the world's arid desert regions. The fertilization from CO2 showed an 11 per cent increase in foliage across the dry areas studied in Australia, North America, the Middle East and Africa, from 1982-2010. The science findings were published in 2013 by CSIRO, an Australian scientific organization. Click Here. Dr Donohue, the research leader said: "higher CO2 boosting the foliage in dry country is good news and could assist forestry and agriculture in such areas" And further studies are anticipated.
