Description: Despite the warmist claims that the Amazon forest is suffering growing fire losses, the decade beginning 2011 had only about half of the loss levels of the earlier decade. Recall that forests are valuable to the climate by consuming large amounts of CO2 from the air. Thus the DECREASED fires are beneficial. Brazil encompasses virtually all of the Amazon forest territory.
