Section 11: Administration Subject: Weird bug? Msg# 920608

This isn't an issue, more like a weird bug that I work around.
When I post an image from a web source in a news item or article (example here) that I want to align right, I have to put in the html code twice: First, I put in the code (align=right) while doing the article, then post the article. The right align does not "take." Then I go back in and edit, redoing the align right. The second time the html does work and the image is properly aligned. This has happened enough times now that I know it always happens that way with images from web sources. Odd, huh? By the way, I don't use images from a web source unless I know the source is a permalink--one of our often-used news sources does use permalinks, which this one is (click here). Unless something is marked as a permalink I upload images I want to use to articles images. I never have to use html code twice in that case. |
