Those ampersands appear only if they were entered before the code change years ago. Only way to eliminate is to edit the image info.

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Their is still an issue with ampersands appearing improperly on the home page.  Clicking on the image shows it appears properly in the photo gallery.  Bottom left: Image below from Mark Freburg - Image Title: home page Image Info: xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
