Links that popup a small window are only in the message area.
You could try placing the link in a test message and then copying and paste the link code into the article. |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Please see this article. I put a link to an older article in the fourth paragraph. I hoped it work like it works on the message board, opening a pop-up, but it takes the reader to the older article, completely away from the article he's reading. He can use his back button, but that's not the solution. The link is there only because the older article is a reference to a specific comment--useful but not absolutely necessary. Obviously external links work fine and always have--but I thought I had used internal links before. Question--did I do something wrong when I hotlinked the old article, or does the software have unintended consequences in the articles section? |
