I know what you mean. The problem is large counts. For example, if you were to read all messages you posted, it would require a dropdown list with perhaps 50,000 selections. Photos aren't the same problem but you get the point.
I'll look at code where you can enter a page number in a box and jump to that page. |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: We need a better way to get to certain pages in the forum photo galleries than jumping four pages at a time. If you are looking for a photo and maybe have the date in mind but nothing else, paging thru 4 at a time is painfully slow in forums with hundreds or thousands of photos, like both Firearms and MEF. Maybe a box to type in a page number to put us the general area...something? |
