The only additional new messages you should be seeing after starting a ReadAllNew are any replies you make while you are reading.
Another way to look at it -- when you start reading all new there is a Count of the number of new messages. That should say the same unless you make a reply while reading. |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: All day yesterday and so far today messages are being added to my reading que as I am reading. As I post a reply, any new messages are added, so the one I just replied to is not the message I am returned to after replying, but doesn't come up again for, say 2-3 messages because 2-3 new messages will have been posted while I was replying. This hadn't happened for a while but you wanted to be notified if it happened again. It is not a problem for me, it's just kind of weird. |
