I've considered the titles and descriptions for images, and could remove that requirement.
The reason they are there is primarily so the search engines can find pages with images on them in the image gallery. I'm still debating with myself. As an aside, if you are using the multiple image upload you can ignore doing the descriptions and title and just click on the images home link. The actual images are in the gallery immediately upon upload. Let's see -- maybe I could eliminate the subject and description on upload multiple then if the forum manager or the uploader desired, each individual image in the gallery could be edited. I may do this. |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Thanks Joe, I was websurfing, checking emails and came across this site through a WCTP newsletter...awesome! Getting a feel for the level of customization, looks like it's going to be useful. Nice to be able to upload images...the only thing that is a little inconvenient is the requirements to add descriptions and titles, but for the price it's great! Tom |
