To be honest Mark, I'm such a techno klutz that the wires in my mind short circuit trying to understand all this stuff that's so foreign to me. I kinda grope my way through each problem and hope like heck I remember for next time!
With this published article that has a Youtube embedded in it, I tried copy/pasting the text into "messages". Then I went back to the video and clicked on the Youtube Icon. I copied the URL [which if I remember right did have "embedded" at the end], and then uploaded it using the Youtube icon on the message page. It SEEMS to have worked ok..... Mark, I truly appreciate your help and advice. My hope is that my group can find an IT type volunteer who would be willing to take this off my hands. In the meantime, please feel free to visit our forum anytime and contribute there if you wish, or of course contact me through here. Incidentally, my resoning for putting some things into "features" etc was to use those categories as "filing cabinet" that could be referred to at any time by anybody. Just leaving everything in "messages" will make them dissapear as new messages are coming in. If the article has educational value, it seems to me prudent to "file it in a cabinet" for easy reference at any time. I hope this makes sense to you. |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: I forgot you can't post raw URLs in the forums anymore without the software automatically making them a proper link so my attempt to give you the actual code was wasted--the softeare converted my posting of the raw link to "click here." Sorry about that. Did you figure it out already? |
