I'm having great difficulty in moving text from an incoming email that includes a letter someone had published, to the news desk section.
Well, I can't see your email, but is it really text or an image? If an image, then it is not text but an image containing text. These two things are as different as a mouse and a lemon. If it is actually text in an email you simply mark the text with your mouse, copy it, then go to the forum and paste the text into the news item you are trying to create. That simple. If emails contain images you wish to place on the forum then you can save the image to your computer and then go to the forum and upload the image to the photos gallery. Any image in the photos gallery can be then be placed into a message or a news item. Also, how do I change the subject issue on the home page? Just by clicking the x on one of the other letters or what? What is "subject issue?" Any item that you made appear on the home page can be removed from the home page by clicking the red X. Any item in your news or video listing can be added to the home page by clicking the link to so so in the list of news or video items. It isn't surprising you are confused. There is a learning curve for the more advanced features available in the code. No pain, no gain. |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: I'm having great difficulty in moving text from an incoming email that includes a letter someone had published, to the news desk section. If you look at the last one "how far left does Obama lean", it came to me in the body of an email. I struggled trying everything to find a way to transfer it. FINALLY, the only way I could do it was to make it a pdf then it transferred easily! Guess I get confused too easily. Also, how do I change the subject issue on the home page? Just by clicking the x on one of the other letters or what? |
