| Wow..this onl KINDA worked. I followed your directions but now when I open up the site it still shows "features". When I click on that it does change to news desk, but shouldnt be there at all??? Help | ||||||

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: I'd certainly like to "dump" the existing News Desk and convert features to News Desk but I'm not seeing how to do that...any help :) Go to Manage Site. Click on Toggle Options and toggle the "News" item to False. This results in no links showing to news area. Click on Manage Site again, then click on the link for "Set Area Names/Desc." In the item for "Articles/Features Area, change the name from "features" to "news desk." Change the description from "Check out our site feature articles. Click on the articles/features link above to see a list of all the article web pages in this site." to Check out our site news desk. Click on the news desk link above to see a list of all the news items posted to the forum. |
