If you are on Windows Vista or Windows 7, you also have a program called Snipping Tool which will take a screen shot of anything on your screen and save it as an image. To access the program click on Start/All Programs/Accessories/Snipping Tool.
When I put videos in my forums I watch them and then stop at a moment that I think will be a good still image for either the thumbnail or the Top Image, then use the Snipping Tool to catch an image of that moment off the video. Then I use a digital imaging program to create the thumbnail or the top image. |
