Mark all as read then Mark 25 as unread and close the browser and clear your cache

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: For the last 3 days, whenever I first go to Books Forum, ALL 613 messages show as unread. I check for messages posted in the last 1 days, and there are none. (Well, one day there were 2, from a troll.) Then I mark all as read and leave, come back the next day, and I'm right back where I started. Something is not getting reset properly.
