For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Joe, I've been using IE9 on my Vista 32 bit Desktop, but it slows it down too much. I'm going to change my desktop to Windows 7 64 bit shortly, but until I do I want to go back to IE8. I recall you early on saying you had tried IE9, then gone back to IE8 because of some iespell issues. So although I believe you are now using IE9, I know one can go backward. However......I can't figure out how. With IE9 installed my machine won't run IE8 setup because of the presence of the newer version--yet I can't seem to uninstall IE9. Can you offer any advice? Thank-you. Anyone else feel free to jump in. |
