Sounds to me like you are entering too much information. Enter one key word in each of the boxes and do the search. The search function itself has not changed. Also, entering your name as a key word is useless unless your name is in the text of the message. You can select your name or anothe ruser name from the name dropdown for sender. |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: I seem to need help with the message board search function. I keep coming up with an empty page instead of results. This never used to happen. But this morning I was looking for a thread from 2-3 weeks ago at most. I put in my name and another member's name alternately, and several key words (alternately) that I knew would be in the thread, and nothing. I'm pretty good at searches and even changed cases and such. Our message board search usually works well for me. Have you changed anything? Any ideas I could try? Other than quit getting old, remember the thread and just go to it?
