you misunderstand me--I see that link.  I click on it and go to the next page.  But when I get to the articles with top images page, there is no obvious link to make an article a top imge, unless, as I asked, "add article" means put the article on the home page.

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: At the top of the list articles page is a item called "Manager Links." One of those links is Articles with Top Image
