If you write a message to someone that individual still sees it no matter where it is moved, right?  I wrote a message to Stu Wayne in Firearms for example, then realized I had given him incorrect technical info.  Rather than edit it I moved it to sysop but then I found a reply--he had seen the message anyway.  If I had deleted it he wouldn't have seen it.

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: As for deleting messages, all a manager need do is move them to a closed section like Sysop. How does this create a problem?
