Sometimes I leave a forum open and leave the computer for hours.  Last night I logged on to MEF and read three new messages.  I wanted to answer the third message later so I left it on the screen.  Came back hours later, answered message, posted it.  Next thing I see is all the new messages posted since I'd last logged in, as if I'd logged in anew by going to the home page to reset my HMN.  This has happened to me a few times and I finally decided to ask you about it.

Under the old code I could leave a forum open indefinitely and new have my HMN reset until I went to the home page again.  Now there seems to be a time limit and then my HMN is automatically reset.  But this causes me to miss messages.

(I go back and find the messages I missed via read back OR resetting my HMN, but I shouldn't have to.)

Is this some anomaly in my computer or something with the code?
